Description

Citraconic anhydride is used as a monomer for specialty unsaturated polyester resins. It is used to prepare bicyclic pyrrolidines, maleimides and co- and terpolymers. It is also used for the protection of N-terminal amino acids. Further, it is involved in the preparation of clothing ping acid and its amide. In addition to this, it is selectively used for the isolation of histidyl peptides.

Anwendungen
Citraconsäureanhydrid wird als Monomer für spezielle ungesättigte Polyesterharze verwendet. Wird zur Herstellung von bicyclischen Pyrrolidinen, Maleimiden und Co- und Terpolymeren verwendet. Wird auch zum Schutz von N-terminalen Aminosäuren verwendet. Ist darüber hinaus an der Herstellung von Pingsäure für Kleidung und deren Amid beteiligt. Wird darüber hinaus selektiv zur Isolierung von Histidylpeptiden eingesetzt.

Löslichkeit
Mischbar mit Wasser, Alkohol, Aceton und Äther.

Hinweise
Feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Nicht kompatibel mit Basen, Oxidationsmitteln und Reduktionsmitteln.
