Beschreibung
Dimethylphenylsilane is a reagent for enol ether synthesis. It acts as a catalyst. Also used as a precursor in Optical Emission Spectroscopy of Plasma Deposition Processes. It can react with vinylbenzene to produce (b-Phenyl-ethyl)-dimethylphenyl-silan.

AnwendungenDimethylphenylsilan ist ein Reagenz für die Enolethersynthese. Es dients als Katalysator. Wird auch als Vorstufe in der optischen Emissionsspektroskopie von Plasma-Abscheidungsprozessen verwendet. Es kann mit Vinylbenzol reagieren, um (b-Phenyl-ethyl)-Dimethylphenyl-silan zu produzieren.

Nicht mit Wasser mischbar.

Feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Inkompatible Materialien sind starke Oxidationsmittel, starke Säuren.
