Description

(S)-2-Methyl-CBS-oxazaborolidine is used as an oxazaborolidine catalyst. It is also employed in the asymmetric reduction of prochiral ketones. Other applications include the enantioselective synthesis of α-hydroxy acids, α-amino acids, C2-symmetrical ferrocenyl diols and propargyl alcohols. It is an anhydrous catalyst for CBS reduction reaction.

Anwendungen
(S)-2-Methyl-CBS-Oxazaborolidin wird als Oxazaborolidin-Katalysator verwendet. Es wird auch bei der asymmetrischen Reduktion prochiraler Ketone eingesetzt. Weitere Anwendungen sind die enantioselektive Synthese von α-Hydroxysäuren, α-Aminosäuren, C2-symmetrische Ferrocenyldiole und Proparylalkohole. Es ist ein wasserfreier Katalysator für die ′CBS′-Reduktionsreaktion.

Es hydrolysiert in Wasser.

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Geöffnete Behälter müssen sorgfältig abgedichtet und aufrecht gehalten werden, um ein Auslaufen zu vermeiden. Nicht kompatibel mit Oxidationsmitteln.
