Beschreibung
1,1-Dibromo-3,3,3-trifluoroacetone readily forms trifluoropyruvaldehyde hydrate in the presence of aqueous NaOAc, which is a useful intermediate, e.g. in the synthesis of a fused pyrazine derivative.
