Noble-Agar, Ultrapure

Geliermittel im Wesentlichen frei von Verunreinigungen. Thermo Scientific™ Noble Agar (hochrein) wird hauptsächlich in biochemischen und molekularbiologischen Verfahren verwendet, bei denen eine erhöhte Reinheit erforderlich ist.

Gelling agent essentially free of impurities. Used mainly in biochemistry and molecular biology procedures wherever increased purity is required.

Typical Agar Preparation:

• Plates: 15 g/L of media; 30-35 ml per 90 mm plate
• Top Agar: 7 g/L of media

Autoclave for 20 minutes and swirl gently to evenly distribute the agar. If antibiotics are to be added, allow the agar to cool to 50°C. When pouring plates, gently swirl the medium. A Bunsen burner flame can be passed over the surface of the plates to remove any air bubbles. After the medium has hardened, invert the plates and store at 4°C.
