Beschreibung
Tri-n-butyltin hydride is used as a radical reagent in reductive cleavage, radical dehalogenation and intramolecular radical cyclization. It also promotes intramolecular cyclization leading to isoxazolo-benzaulene ring system. Further, it acts as a reducing agent for the conversion of alkyl halides to hydrocarbons. In addition to this, it is used in a veterinary anthelmintic for poultry and an intermediate to make other butyltin compounds.

AnwendungenTri-n-Butyltin-Hydrid wird als radikales Reagenz bei reduktiver Spaltung, radikaler Dehalogenierung und intramolekularer Radikalzyklisierung verwendet. Fördert auch die intramolekulare Zyklisierung, die zum Isoxazolo-Benzaulen-Ringsystem führt. Darüber hinaus wirkt es als Reduktionsmittel für die Umwandlung von Alkylhalogeniden in Kohlenwasserstoffe. Wird darüber hinaus in einem Veterinäranthelminthikum für Geflügel und einem Zwischenprodukt zur Herstellung anderer Butylzin-Verbindungen verwendet.

Nicht mit Wasser mischbar.
Hinweise
Luft- und feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Kühl lagern. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln und Säuren.
