Beschreibung
Sodium fumarate is used as an acidity regulator in food processing and as terminal electron acceptors in the cultivation of certain anaerobic microorganisms. It is also used as a buffering agent and pH adjuster in cosmetic and personal care products. Further, it is used as a food additive.

AnwendungenNatriumfumarat wird als Säureregler in der Lebensmittelverarbeitung und für terminale Elektronenakzeptoren bei der Kultivierung bestimmter anaerober Mikroorganismen eingesetzt. Es wird auch als Puffermittel und zur pH-Einstellung in Kosmetika und Körperpflegeprodukten verwendet. Außerdem wird es als Lebensmittelzusatzstoff eingesetzt.

Wasserlöslich.
Hinweise
Hygroskopisch. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln und starken Säuren.
